As our WHS & Risk Advisor, you won’t be held back. Your role is to ensure WHS compliance across all locations while fostering a dynamic Safety-First culture. Innovation is encouraged, and yes, that includes extensive travel!
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive compliance with ISO45001 and ISO9001 standards.
- Lead audits of our Integrated Management System.
- Innovate by providing expert WHS advice.
- Foster effective worker consultation mechanisms.
- Cultivate a dynamic Safety-First culture.
- Innovate WHS policies and procedures.
- Implement the WHS Action Plan and propose ground-breaking improvements.
- Deliver WHS training and integrate innovative safety practices.
- Oversee the Hazard Management Program with a fresh perspective.
- Maintain accurate records and embrace innovative document control practices.
- Monitor WHS performance and inspire innovative improvements.
- Attend and present innovative safety reports.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years’ multi-site WHS leadership experience.
- Proficiency in WHS Act, Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
- Proven ability to develop and audit WHS Management Systems (ISO45001 and ISO9001).
- Strong risk management skills and WHS policy expertise.
- Leadership, management, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Practical experience in safe work practices and innovative incident management.
- Contractor Management Systems expertise.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Time management and conflict resolution abilities.
- Relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of WHS legislation and standards.
- Proficiency with innovative WHS incident databases or applications.
Decision-Making Authority:
- Authority to ensure safety, compliance, and innovation.
- Obtain information and communicate with clients and medical practitioners to drive innovation.
- Counsel employees with an innovative approach and review audit results with fresh eyes.
- Manage confidentiality obligations with innovation in mind.
Travel Component: This role includes extensive travel to diverse locations, and you’ll also receive a company vehicle to fuel your innovative journey!
