Our client, a global leader in industrial automation and engineering, is seeking a Sales Service Engineer to join their team.
As a Sales Service Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales of products and services, as well as providing technical support to customers in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
- Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of equipment
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction is maintained
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and colleagues
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products and technologies, and competitor activities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions in the CRM system
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering qualifications ie; Bachelor’s degree or Cert III in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in sales or technical support in the hydraulic industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Technical knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
