Are you a qualified HV or LV Mechanic ready to step up into a supervisory role with variety, responsibility, and a strong support network? We are seeking a Mechanics Supervisor to oversee two back-to-back (B2B) mechanic crews on-site at Roxby Downs, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position after the qualifying period.


?? About the Role

  • Lead a team of 8 mechanics across two B2B crews, plus 1 on-site Administrator
  • Coordinate daily work schedules, rosters, and job allocations
  • Assist mechanics in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Ensure BHP compliance is met through regular inspections and reporting
  • Schedule and oversee work on internal and external vehicles (Utes, trucks, cranes)
  • Quote external works, manage parts orders, and liaise with suppliers
  • Complete and submit timesheets and support the Administrator with invoicing
  • Be the key point of contact for all mechanical operations on site
  • ? What You’ll Need
  • HV/LV Mechanic qualification (mandatory)
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience highly desirable
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage teams and operations in a remote or regional setting

  • Roster:
    • Local: 5/2
    • DIDO: 2/1 (Drive In Drive Out)
  • Accommodation: Shared house provided
  • Allowance: LAFHA paid at $40 per day
  • Hours: 12-hour days (depending on workload)
  • Vehicle: Ute provided for travel between Roxby Downs & site while on shift
  • Employment: Initial contract with pathway to full-time after qualifying period
