Financial Accountant – 4 Month Contract

Join a well-established manufacturing business for a short-term contract supporting their Finance Manager.

We’re seeking an experienced Financial Accountant who can hit the ground running and bring a proactive, can-do attitude to the role.

??? What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and assist with End of Month (EOM) ledger tasks
• Accounts Payable and Receivable oversight, with the flexibility to step in and process transactions when required
• Handle General Ledger and reconciliation responsibilities
• Support Auditing and internal control processes
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
• Liaise with the offshore finance team based in Malaysia
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance
• Identify process improvements and provide hands-on support across the finance function

?? What You Bring

• 6+ years’ experience in a similar Financial Accountant role (ideally within manufacturing or a fast-paced environment)
• Strong knowledge of EOM processes, AP/AR, GL, and reporting
• Experience using Oracle (advantageous)
• A switched-on mindset – quick learner, shows initiative, and can work independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Immediate availability
