About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Document Controller to join an Adelaide office. As part of our close-knit team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth management and quality control of all project documentation.

Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to work alongside Engineers and Project Managers, providing essential support and implementing internal and client-specified software systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, manage, and maintain project filing systems to streamline document management processes.
  • Coordinate the collation of documentation according to project requirements and standards.
  • Verify the quality and compliance of document submissions, ensuring adherence to prescribed processes, client specifications, revision conventions, and formatting guidelines.
  • Track and record all incoming and outgoing documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Facilitate access to the latest document versions for project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Provide document formatting support to maintain consistency with brand standards.
  • Offer training and mentorship to team members on relevant processes and internal/external systems.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and develop effective solutions.

 

About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a valued member of our team, you will possess strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a document control role, preferably within the Engineering or related industry.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
  • You must possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional document formatting abilities, and a natural inclination towards identifying grammatical and spelling errors.
  • Additionally, familiarity with software systems such as:
    • Aconex
    • TeamBinder
    • OpenText
    • MyPlant
    • SharePoint
