About the role: 

As a Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Welder, you’ll be an integral part of our dynamic team. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on experience with small/medium machinery, including trucks, tractors, and pumps. Collaborating closely with an experienced diesel mechanic, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your skills in both diesel mechanics and welding. This role may require weekend work at times, offering additional penalties for your dedication. We believe in fostering a supportive work environment that promotes long-term career growth and a healthy work-life balance.

Key responsibilities:

    • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, tractors, pumps, and other machinery.
    • Collaborate with the existing diesel mechanic on ongoing maintenance projects.
    • Perform welding tasks for repairs and fabrication as required.
    • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues under the guidance of the current diesel mechanic.
    • Willingness to learn either diesel mechanic duties (for those with welding experience) or welding (for those with diesel experience).
    • Availability for weekend work as needed.


Essential qualifications/experience:

  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Trade Assistant with diesel experience.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of an experienced diesel mechanic.
  • Flexibility to learn and adapt to new tasks.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
